The Best Helicopters Money Can Buy

Article by R.G. Ixmann

Sick of walking? Why don't you fly? The system works so well that sometimes you may just want to lift off the ground and fly out of it. Planes are just too big to do that. If you are looking ways for expensive ways to cross a city in minutes, or to fly over the regions, then helicopter flying is your thing. While billions walk the street in apparent unhappiness, those who helicopter their way through life smile with the adrenaline rush. So why not buy the whole thing? These are the most expensive helicopters. They might just make you feel off the gird.

The Bell/Agusta BA609, believe it or not, is a civilian aircraft. It is similar to the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey. The Osprey flyaway costs 67 million USD.

If someone says to you, "that is not exactly a helicopter", you can answer three things.
1: "It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, and high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. "
2: "Do you want to see it land?"
or 3: (and my personal favourite) "I paid 67 million dollars for it, I can call it whatever I want."

For an average of 400 million you can get Lockheed Martin VH-71 Kestrel. Or the AgustaWestland AW101 for 21 million. Or why not get both? While you are at it, add the NH 90 to the list. It is only 16 million Euros. After all, they are just combat helicopters. Try taking your way out that one.

If you are more into civilian helicopters, the Versace Helicopter is all about speed and looking good.

Private Aviation Corporation Talon Air also has customised helicopters. The info online says it costs as little as 4 million. Now, is that the price for bottle? And what on Earth is that white phone? They could have upgraded the phone line for 4 millions.

Mercedes Benz cars rock the ground and now Mercedes wants to conquer the air. The helicopter and price is not out yet. I hope someone takes a second look on the plans before it comes out on sale. The outside of the EC 145 in the Benz just does not seem right. The inside is sweet. If I pay millions for a helicopter, I want it too look as good on the outside as it does in the inside. Here are the blueprints The interiors could use more windows, shade and space.

Igarashi Design has a new concept of helicopter design. It is not an dragon-fly, nor an insect. It is a helicopter that takes the word private seriously. This helicopter has a seat for one person only, the pilot. The problem is that people are scared to death to get on board. Leave that to the experts. Snoc n´ Funazi. Do you know what I mean? Just a little taste of what is coming.
